POL Police Training Package Release 9.0 will see the update to several qualifications to meet the current and emerging requirements of the Police industry-sector. The update to the POL Police Training Package will be conducted in collaboration with the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA). ANZPAA is the peak body for the Policing industry-sector within Australia and New Zealand and is representative of each policing jurisdiction.

The qualifications identified for update in this project have been informed by the ANZPAA Annual Business Plan, approved by the Australia New Zealand Council of Police Professionalisation (ANZCoPP). The ANZCoPP Board comprises of commissioners from each state and territory and is inclusive of the Police Federation of Australia.

This project will see the review of two vital operational streams within policing, investigation and intelligence.

Technical Committee

Engagement with the Police industry-sector is currently taking place. In accordance with the Training Package Products Development and Endorsement Process Policy, Technical Committees has been established to provide advice on the endorsement of training products.
